After delivering a great poetry workshop to Y3 in the Autumn term, we invited Neal Zetter back to deliver virtual poetry workshops for Years 4, 5 and 6. The children listened to Neal reading his poems and were able to join in too. Shouts of ketchup could be heard from the junior classes. Neal told the children all the techniques they could use to write a good poem and he left the children with a poetry challenge- to write their own poem based on their experiences of lockdown. The children were also able to ask him lots of questions about his writing and books. Parents and Carers can buy his books through ParentPay and Neal will also sign the books.
