On Friday 6th May, we marked the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla by coming into school dressed in red, white and blue. In our classes, we explored what a coronation is – a religious ceremony. We then created our own portraits of King Charles and talked about what kind of Gospel and British values we would like him to represent. We learnt a coronation song and all had our picnic lunch in the hall together whilst listening to some party music. It was great fun!
