Year 5 have been working and thinking very scientifically by creating complex sequences. We had to construct complex machines that resulted into an egg falling into a basket. Our machines were made up of many components including wheels and axles, levers, incline planes and wedges. Some of our complex machines started off with a pulley system, which pushed a ball to a wheel and axle, which then knocked over a set of levers to then push the egg into its nest.
