Some children from Y4 and Y5 took part in a girls’ Euro 2025 event run by students at The University of Cumbria. The event involved lots of stations where they practised their football skills and ended with some competitive games. For some, this was the first time playing football matches against other schools and they did brilliantly. Winning all of their games, the girls came home with gold medals and had the best morning! Not only was this a great event to represent school, practice their football skills and teamwork, the event also raised money for Derain House.
