Earlier this week, Eucalyptus Class visited Lancaster City Museum for half day Romans visit and we had a fantastic time! We were greeted by a Roman soldier (who spoke to us in Latin at first!) and he taught us lots about his life in the Roman army. We were able to handle equipment, listen to stories and even practise being solders ourselves. We also visited the museum’s Roman collection and saw many artefacts that were found in Lancaster, providing evidence of Roman activity in our home town.
