Eucalyptus and Willow Class visited Abbeystead Estate for their countryside day.

This week, Eucalyptus and Willow Class visited Abbeystead Estate for their countryside day. The trip involved learning about trees and habitats, naming the parts of a leaves, and making their own leaf sculptures. The children also identified invertebrates from the river, learnt about the life cycles of salmon and eels and the importance of food chains. The children had a fabulous day in the sunshine and applied their learning outside of school in a wonderful environment.
