Year 6 have been looking at how Jesus came to show us that He is The way to the Father. We have looked at the values Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount. The first part of this sermon is known as The Beatitudes, which means ‘blessings’. We looked at signs of people living the Beatitudes and actions we can do to make the school a better place. We then read this powerful book which tells us how those struggling for freedom trusted that God was with them and that he would set them free.
