Our Class novel this half term is The Boy in the Tower and in chapter 36 Ade finds some chin chin in a box. Isioma and Nana told us that it is a fried snack from Nigeria, a crunchy, donut-like baked or fried dough of wheat flour, and other customary baking items. They told us that they have it at home.
Today Isioma brought in two boxes of chin chin which his mum had made for the class over the weekend. The children thought it tasted a bit like shortbread.
