Today, in Year 5, we started to learn to play the recorder and read music. By the end of the lesson we could play A and B and we knew the value of the different types of notation. Mrs Round was very proud of us.

Alien Soup!

In our science lesson this week, Mrs Round presented us with a bowl of Alien Soup! We had to work out what the different ‘ingredients’ were and how we could retrieve them separately. We used decanting, sieving, magnets and evaporation!
